Kangana Ranaut apparently approved the latest promo featuring Tiku Weds Sheru actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui purposely taking a dig at her ex-boyfriend Hrithik Roshan
Currently, Kangana Ranaut is on a promotional spree for her upcoming film Tiku Weds Sheru, which is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video. Now, the actress and filmmaker has once again made it to the headlines as she apparently approved the latest promo shared by the streaming giant on social media which features its lead actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui purposely taking a dig at her ex-boyfriend Hrithik Roshan.
In the clip, Nawazuddin Siddiqui can be seen introducing himself and sharing that he is on the lookout for eligible Rishta for himself. He also shares that if any girl wishes to spend the rest of her life with he, she can feel free to send him their bio-data.
“Hello friends. My name is Sheru and people call me Sheru out of love. I work in Bollywood and I’m often a part of small-budget films. I have no bad habits. I respect everyone around me. So, if any girl wishes to make their life better and spend the rest of her life with me can feel free to send me their bio-data soon,” says Nawazuddin as Sheru.
Nawaz’s character even appreciates A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, while taking a dig at her rumoured ex-boyfriend and actor Hrithik Roshan as he says that the Dhoom 2 actor is ‘not available and is keeping busy’.
While listing the names, Nawaz’s Sheru purposely takes Hrithik Roshan’s name and explains the reason behind his missing photo.
Apparently, Kangana Rauant seems quite happy with the sly dig. Following the sly dig, many opined that Kangana had a say and approval on the video, considering that she is the producer of the film, and slammed her.
“Is this real or some kind of fan edit? Nawaz could pull a pic with SRK, Salman or even Amitabh, why choose HR? Did they take his permission to use his name for promotions?" a fourth user asked.
A user wrote, "That woman NEEDS to move on." "Kangana promoting her production films and herself on Nepos, shameless behaviour," wrote another.
The sly dig comes as Kangana was the other woman in Hrithik’s life, which ended his marriage with Sussanne Khan. It was a controversy that ruled 2016, with several notices sent by both parties, revealing emails and giving interviews to the press, taking digs at each other, reported FreePressJournal.
Speaking of Tiku Weds Sheru, the upcoming film is a quirky love story directed by Sai Kabir Srivastav. It stars actor Avneet Kaur playing the love interest of Nawazuddin.
The film follows the journey of a dreamer Tiku (Avneet) and a hustler Sheru (Nawazuddin) and the trailer of the film showcases the ups and downs in the lives of this unconventional couple, a junior artist and an aspiring actor, who begin their mad-cap journey as they hustle together to achieve their ambitions in the city of dreams, Mumbai.
